Holy crap, they fixed Army of Two.

And by fixed I mean actually put in the missing last level and apparently also "filled out" some of the other levels. And added more MP goodness (MP was pretty fun anyway) for FREE.

I'm keen to get back into this now, especially after being turned off completely by the UTTER RIP-OFF that was the SSC Challenge pack.

So, anyone in AU who wants to team up to do some of the new content, y'know, call me.

Oh and Stark, just as an incentive, there are several new achievements in the free content too - all tied into the new missions.

Dude, I didn't KEEP that game. Remember finishing it in like 4 hours, with obvious cut levels that they talk about even though they never happened? Yeah, I don't pay $100 for that sort of thing. :)

AND I RESENT THE IMPLICATION THAT I AM AN ACHIEVEMENT WHORE, SIR. :)

It's not 'adding'.

It's 'releasing cut content'. The game was obviously SUPPOSED to have extra levels etc, but they must have cut it for release. It's really obvious when you play that the story flow is unfinished. So really, you've ALREADY paid for it. :)

I checked out a friends achievement list which included some of the new ones and it appears that the new stuff includes the bossfight against Dalton which was missing.

After checking some news site, there are two new SP/co-op levels, one in a Kiev subway station and re-jigged (read FINISHED) final SSC HQ level.

And then there's some more MP guff.

I never noticed there were missing levels in AOT. When did this happen? I mean i never really pay much attention to a game's storyline (which is why i hate un-skippable cut scenes) but i didnt seem to notice any missing scenes or anything. :?

You mean you failed to notice that the game just ends with the crappy cutscene, rather than having you fight Dalton?

I just assumed that it was EA being cheap and lame.

I didn't know they had a bossfight in development but then cut it.

Doesn't surprise me though

Acatually i thought that it was supposed to end like that. I figured Clyde was the big final boss.

I mean, sorry, i just dont pay that much attention to a game's story. The whole point of the exercise, to me anyway, was the shootout leading to that. Besides, i thought the fight with Clyde was the last boss battle...it seemed like it's harder than shooting a helicopter when i have a Stinger missile that can kill it with two shots, yeah?

Oh well, the endgame in AOT was at least more inventive than the "LOL Strider Fight!!!" nonsense at the end of Half-Life Episode 2. And i DID feel like that game left something out (like MOAR PUZZLES! )

Hey now i can download the last level a spend a whole TWO missiles killing Dalton. :P No but seriously i'm glad you told me this, now i can actually get the rest of it. You just download it off XBox live right?

Me and my friend thought that was on purpose. Reminded us of the sword guy in Indiana Jones who just gets shot.

I didn't mind it, but it felt like an anti-climax.

Though there is now an achievement for shooting Dalton in the face with a pimped .44. Seriously. Is that about the most specific achievement ever?
