Hello. I was wondering if there was any programs out there that could strip out background noise from a video.
I could really use something to doctor some video recordings I've made.
Though I doubt it, would iMovie be able to do this?

What you need to do first, is seperate the audio and video of the movie. Put the audio in a different file. I am not sure how to do this, but once you are there you can use a number of great audio-editing and recording softwares to help you.
If you are like me, you might have gotten one from one of your driver CDs. I know my sound card CD has such a program, and I recall my Nero disk that came with my DVD-writer might have one too.
EDIT: For the record, I did sometimes filter out some kinds of audio noises with Cooledit.
