If you want a mobile phone from someone traditionally known for motherboards and other PC stuff try Asus. Their windows mobile smartphones are some of the best. I have to tell you something everything I wrote above is a lie.
Ahhhh...brings back memories from when I was in the electronics assembly industry. The company I worked for built the motherboards for Sun's UltraSPARC servers, I got to see them roll off the line but I didn't get to build them. Fun times, but the hours were hell.
