With my new laptop and getting RTW bundled with it as well as a anti virus I wanted to know if my comps specs will work for MTW:2 and also some questions on it.
The specs are: AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-60 (2 CPU's) 2.0GHz
2GB RAM
200 GB HD Space
DirectX 10 (I have Vista)
ATI Radeon X1250-831 MB.
I know the minimal specs for the game but was curious on whether mine would run it smoothly enough.
What does the game improve on over RTW? Besides the setting and a graphics update does it do anything better that RTW was lacking on? Is it still as fun as RTW? Also, what are the games downsides?

This handy site will examine your pc's configuration and tell you if it's up to snuff for running any of the games on its list. The Total War series are on there.

No need.
I run Medieval 2 with a machine on medium details, huge unit sizes and I have half his RAM. The rest is pretty much the same, except that I I have a Geforce 7600 and a Dual Core (2x1.60 Ghz).

A decision must be made in the life of every nation at the very moment when the grasp of the enemy is at its throat. Then, it seems that the only way to survive is to use the means of the enemy, to rest survival upon what is expedient, to look the other way. Well, the answer to that is 'survival as what'? A country isn't a rock. It's not an extension of one's self. It's what it stands for. It's what it stands for when standing for something is the most difficult! - Chief Judge Haywood
