Conquest: Frontier War multiplayer co-ordination

Post by Straha »

So, rather than drag this thread even more off topic I started this thread for organizing multi-player games of Conquest, if more people are interested.

I, for one, should be free any time during the week after about 5 PM EST (10 PM GMT), and will pretty much be up most of the night regardless. How about the lot of you?

What rules would you want to use? How many CPs, how many systems, what link logic? I generally play max CP, max systems, 'true random' (not really very random but better than 'circle'), death by HQ and medium resource density.

200 CP (max), max systems, I usually use the system where everyone gets a home system with only one exit wormhole but I'm up for anything except circle (otherwise known as instant death via rush), HQ death, and I personally prefer heavy resource density. But medium is fine as well. Besides, as the game goes on resource density tends to matter less as you have more planet based refineries.

I'd definitely be up for it. I just need to re-install my copy. Which version of the game will you be using?

I'd be up for a few games, though I haven't played in years and was never particularly good at it. I don't think beating the Single Player campaign is some great accomplishment.

And I haven't even managed to do that, so I doubt I'll be able to offer much in the way of competition. Still, it probably will be fun to see how long I can last.
