[Tensided] New Fantasy Campaign starting soon

Post by Arthur_Tuxedo »

So we're starting a new fantasy Tensided campaign soon and looking for 1-3 more players before we do. Most of you are probably familiar with Tensided by now, so I won't go into the full explanation. Suffice to say that it's a classless, levelless (and occasionally tasteless) system with a focus on freedom of character development, a streamlined skill system, and gory combat with no depletable HP's. It's not really based on any other system and isn't particularly similar to another one out there that I've played.

The setting is called the World of Hightower, and is intended as a fantasy setting with a genuine feel to it. There are no deities who can be proven to exist, good and evil are not any more clear cut than in our world, and a knight in shining armor is as likely to be a ruthless, pillaging thug as a virtuous do-gooder. This campaign will be focused on a brewing civil war in the kingdom of Dunsburough between the incompetent but generally well-meaning King Frederick II and would-be usurper Archduke Linus Tallbrook, with the characters loyal to the king, at least for the time being. Expect intrigue, sneaking about, and a moderate does of knightly mounted combat.

We plan to play every other Sunday at noon PDT using Gametable and Ventrilo, starting this Sunday Sep 7. Discuss the game at our forum here.
