I heard you could actually get mew through the 100 of an item trick, but all I got was level 255 snorlaxes. My buddy got Electrodes.

Also I think I'll have to vote for the second round. Though weren't Fire and Leaf a remake of the originals?

They were "remakes+", there was new content and the combat engine was based on the rules for RSE.
