Agreed. I saw it already after it was mentioned in Steam's latest update news. That's how I found out Left 4 Dead is 50% off this weekend, too.

Long ago in a distant land, I, Aku, the shape-shifting Master of Darkness, unleashed an unspeakable evil,
but a foolish samurai warrior wielding a magic sword stepped forth to oppose me. Before the final blow
was struck, I tore open a portal in time and flung him into the future, where my evil is law! Now, the fool
seeks to return to the past, and undo the future that is Aku...

This is incredible for a budget of $500. I can't wait to see more.

Oi, I was just about to post that.
Awesome nice work

The visual effects are very cool, especially considering a budget under $500, but it's pretty evident they didn't have a script. Just as a guided tour of real-life HL2 effects though this is great.

Wow, I've never actually watched a fan movie and actually been impressed by it.
I've often thought that if anyone ever actually did a half life movie it would probably work best in the Blair Witch/Coverfield style. You could have Gordon as a background character that the main characters bump into from time to time but never has a chance to say anything.

I wouldn't even him really show up at all. Maybe have the characters refer to his actions, or hear rumors as to his where abouts. They could be standing guard at a gate when he comes through or something. Enough to where we can see that he is the celebrity that he is, but not enough where its SOD breaking for the main characters to be encountering the Free Man every episode.Spyder wrote:Wow, I've never actually watched a fan movie and actually been impressed by it.

Coyote: Warm it in the microwave first to avoid that 'necrophelia' effect.
