Can I run Vista from an external hard drive?
My desktop computer is currently in need of a hard drive. I plan to get a replacement for it sometime next week, but in the meantime, can I install Vista onto an external I have and run it from there? If so, how would I go about doing this?

No you can't. Vista won't allow installation to any removable drive.
