Pursuant to the thread in G&C, I just reinstalled TIE Fighter. It is still wonderful.

Donkey Kong for the Game Boy. It's really a hidden gem of platforming awesomeness. It starts out looking like regular Donkey Kong but you soon realize you have some sweet moves straight out of Mario 64.

I remember the first time I really discovered that game. I'd received it along with about two dozen others when I bought my brother's friend's Game Boy collection, and I'd thought it was just the arcade game for the longest time. Then I beat the fourth stage for the first time and it became one of my favourite portable games. Hearing Donkey Kong's 2-bit roar brings back memories.

I just loaded 'Command & Conquer: The First Decade', but the visuals are all wierd. The colors are all screwed up. I'm running Windows 7 RC.

Any ideas how to fix it?

No idea try downloading a patch.

I really can't help you much as I'm running the original win95/98 cd's and they've never given me much of an issue using them.

Try running it in compatibility mode for XP or 98, or DosBox (if it still uses the old base coding).

Also there are patches for XP and Vista available at the EA site, and you need to run it in compatibility mode.

After a recommendation from a friend, Operation Flashpoint. AT first, it just looked like a mess and I often wish for binoculars and a scope on my M16, but other than that, the game turned out pretty fun once I blasted a convey and exterminated the entire military population of a small town with a M24, the game started to shine.
