Cell phone search

Post by montypython »

I'm looking for a triband HSDPA capable cell phone with quadband GSM ability, with a clamshell form. I've only found the Nokia 6350 and a Sony Ericsson model, but what other models would be worth looking at too?

I'm mostly planning on using it for calling and occasional camera shots, MP3 functionality and such aren't much of a factor for me. The biggest factor for me is flexibility of use globally, as I travel sometimes and would like to have a phone that can be used most anywhere with just the swap of a SIM card.

The trouble seems to be that Clamshells are falling out of favour. Instead the emphasis now seems to be on touchscreen and slider phones. If you had considered touchscreen, I use an LG KP501 Cookie. As for clamshell though, what about Motorola's Jewel?

Thanks, those are some that I've been considering, as HSDPA 2100 is something I really prefer as I may be going to Europe sometime in the future. I had looked at the Motorola Jewel but like the U9 it doesn't have the 3G element I was looking for. The Nokia 3711, 6350, 6263 and the Motorola V9x are among my other possible choices too.
