Need New Network Adaptor

Post by ArmorPierce »

I recently upgraded to windows 7 64 bit. I soon found out that my network card is not compatible with either 64 bit or windows 7 and the last driver update was like 2004. So I am about to buy a network adaptor that is windows7 64bit compatible. Can I buy any network adaptor and it will be compatible with both my computer and the home network or do I have to do more research?

Most any new adapter should work fine. You can pick up most for under $25.

Buy Intel NICs. They are better-supported, better-performing and have better drivers than pretty much anything else. (PCI, PCI-Express)
