Computer at work has a virus

Post by Vympel »

Its been cleaned, but what it did was somehow fuck up Adobe Acrobat Professional, which doensn't work anymore. The .exe has disappeared from the system.

As a a stopgap I downloaded Acrobat Reader and tried to install it, and it refuses to. Its bizarre. Anyone had a problem like this?

Basically, the setup starts, and when it gets to 'computing space requirements' a secondary window opens up and says "Error 1327. Invalid drive S: /"

WTF?

Oh, and the same message happens on startup every time.

Half-awake right now, so I don't have the coherence to sort through all this, but this thread looks to have a few different solutions to that sort of thing.

Enjoy.
