Oh sorry I forgot you'd snip out the part where this is not a new point and people often laugh at nerds for kicking up shit (most recently over Starcraft 2) when they're all going to buy it anyway.

No no we have to care because some idiot nobody said so ON THE ESCAPIST. :D
No, it's not a new point at all, but the recent event regarding Ubisoft's DRM does bring the issue back up, specially since the proliferation of increasingly draconic DRM measures should have consumers thinking hard about wich publishers to support, yet they keep being stupid about it.

And if you don't really care about articles people post, why do you keep whinning about it? Oh wait, trolling. Yeah. Look! Yatzhee's video on Alien Vs. Predator is up! Better ready your "He's just a commedy writer" macro in case someone even hints at liking his stuff. :D

It's not entirely useless; when you get a combination of mobile market and bad DRM you get Starforce; a whole bunch of games that nobody played or had it patched out due to market pressure. Uh oh, poor nameless escapist columnist!

And sorry, when people refer to someone who admits he's trolling fat people as a source for anything, I like to point and laugh. Like at you, actually. Yahtzee is a cool guy in person; he knows he's just stirring the pot and making money. Nothing he says is partiuclarly insightful outside the nerd-worship he recieves.

I prefer Sean Malstorm who's blog I linked to before anyways, mostly because of the fact that he laugh at the nerd's sense of importance( veteran gamer), then again compared to escapist who still gives the entire industry the benefit of the doubt I like the fact that he despised the entire industry and seems just waiting to dance on it's grave.
