"Well, if you are to join us, then I suppose you should mark your name down on the list. It feels like they are going to start soon," Cassandra told Vaeri. She motioned over to the registration, where teams were starting to become well-defined. Surely the beginning of the race would not be far off now.

Well, if you are up for the race, you are welcome. Just don't try to impress anyone with fancy tricks.

After Fianan discussed the details with Thoctar, she tries to gather the rest of the team.
Spoiler
For the rest of our team: Fianan is now either asking you to join the team, or you have been hired earlier. In the latter case, you might know her for up to a month. Just introduce yourself in whichever way you want. That can include some lines from my character, as long as they do not grossly contradict her character, establish anything about her etc. If you want to do something specific, PM me.

As the other three were talking Will went off to the side a ways to a passing snack vendor. He had expected finding fellows to join the race with would take a far sight longer than it had so had left early, skipping breakfast.
Walking back while carefully holding the small roasted lizard he bought Will saw there was a gap in their conversation. "Well, now that we have the appropriate number with us would everyone agree to stepping to a slightly less crowded space to discuss strategies and such? Or at least as much as we can until we get more information on exactly where we are going."

Vaeri shuffled his way over to the table with the registration. It had been built for humans towered above Vaeri's head. A halfling was jotting down his name on the other end of the table, using the only footstool available so Vaeri had to make a few shot hops to see where the blank spaces were. A hulking half-orc waiting behind him started to speak.

"Little lizard man need help to table? Huk sign X for you. Huk good at making X."

With a snap of his fingers Vaeri caused the quill pin to levitate, signing his name on an empty spot in flowing Draconic script. The half-orc behind him giggled cheerfully, clapping his hands.

"Huk like funny magic lizard! Huk hope he don't have to break magic lizard man in race. That make Huk sad."

Vaeri gave a polite nod and walked back to find his group.
