I count a backlog as stuff that I'm not yet finished with. Whether or not that's completed or just "done with this now" is up to the game.Stark wrote:I'm curious - do people count any game they ever started as on a 'backlog' until they finish it? I tried to finish Witcher at least 3 times, always got distracted and gave up, and will probably never finish it.

Re: Gaming backlogs
That's more meaningful I guess; Metro is pretty short but I'm still not 'done with it'. I was 'done' with Dead Rising after 15 minutes.

Re: Gaming backlogs
I finish the vast majority of games I buy, often 100% completion on max difficulty. Although I agree on Dead Rising, I lasted about 8 hours before writing it off as unplayable.
I only have a 'backlog' when work / research / etc starts sucking up all my time, in which case the last couple of games I bought prior to this happening sit around unopened. This has been the case for the last six months, where the only games I played were Hawx 2, Bad Company 2 and the DLC for Mass Effect 2.
