I have a Linksys WRT54G router and I am unable to access the internet either wired or wireless. I can access the router and the computers connected to it (mine wireless, my inlaw's wired) can access each other. But neither computer can access the internet. I thought maybe it was the ethernet cable from the router to the modem but even after switching cables the problem persists.
I can get internet access if I connect my inlaw's computer directly to the modem.
Another piece of info. About the same time that we lost internet connection, we got the modem replaced because the technician said that the modem was toast. Could the same thing happened to the router? Some freak surge fried both? Personally that doesn't make too much sense since I can do everything else with the router except connect to the internet.
Help?
Unable to connect to internet with my router.

Re: Unable to connect to internet with my router.
Found the problem. Apparently I had inadvertently reset the router. I installed the software that came with the router and fixed it proper.
