Hi guys,
I'm struggling at the moment to get a desktop set up on my wireless network- I'm using a Belkin wireless USB Adapter, which can 'see' the network, but only connects to it intermitantly. We have a Wii, X360 and a laptop which all connect wirelessly with no problem, and in the case of the Wii, from a lot further away, plus a second all-in-one desktop which is connected through a cable, which works fine as well.
I have tried to get to the screen to change the channel of the router, but the username and password I thought it was was incorrect. I've also tried connecting with the security settings removed (risky but I thought 'what the hey'), and still no joy. In fact, the USB adapter finds it easier to connect to an unsecured network just down the road.
If anyone can help me, I would appreciate it greatly and may even provide cookies at a later date.

Re: Home Networking Trouble
So, you can modify some of your router's settings(security, etc), but not others. What model is it?
