So, I'm one of the veterans of the Tribes 2 heyday - I played it all, every variant. This was back when I still had things like dexterity and free time, so I was even good at it.
Now there's a game that's been out a while called Global Agenda; it's supposed to be Tribes-ish, but I'm interested in opinions of others here - even though the Steam sale currently has it at 7 bucks, I don't really want to waste money on something half-assed in pursuit of that good ol' Tribes nostalgia.
Are there any old Tribes 2 players who can/will vouch for this game?

There's a free trial, dude. It lets you get pretty far. I didn't play it much and I never played Tribes, so I can't comment on that, but it's free to try out for yourself.
