Any games out there last Blast Corps -

Post by Chardok »

NOT RED FACTION.

So I was thinking i'd like to smash things. (in a gamey sense) and I remember Blast Corps being really fun. Are there any, more modern games out there that I might've missed that are similar to that? I saw only one in my quick search, some game called Demolition company, but the physics are apaprently freaking awful and the rubble has no weight and crap. It just seemed like poop. HALP.

Now Crysis may not have been advertised as such it has the best physics engine I know of in a video game.

The Sandbox 2 editor lets you build towns, villages, islands etc and lets you blow them up creatively. With everything from your power armored fists to tactical nukes. All of which are modeled "realistically". Heck they even model actual water as a fluid. I had no idea that modern computers could do actual liquid water yet until i saw it myself in Crysis.

Crysis lets you build your own fantasy demolition scenarios once you get hang of the game and it's tools.
I have to tell you something everything I wrote above is a lie.

Do you know if there's a way to build a multi-story building without it taking hits like it's built from a stack of panels? I'd love to try stuff with it if you can make proper multi-story destroyable walls.
