Ubuntu, Wine and CD-ROMs
Whose brilliant idea was it to make it impossible to install an application from a CD in the latest version, and does anyone know of a way to change this that doesn't involve being logged in as root?

Re: Ubuntu, Wine and CD-ROMs
I don't know of a way to change it, but I do know of a way around it. Open a terminal, cd to the media/cdrom folder, then enter ' wine "install program" ' where install program is the setup program.
A lesbian redshirt, thats like double narrative points there...
Re: Ubuntu, Wine and CD-ROMs
