Request for parley threadnaught up to almost 350 pages (it's really more of a guideline :P)
Devblog semi-threadnaught at almost 100 pages.

CCP has updated and changed the model on the Maller cruiser and its advanced versions with this "expansion". This includes the Devoter which by some reports can now use bubbles in low-sec and open cyno's in high-sec. Yes, by changing how the model of a ship looks it appears CCP has managed to break what the ship is and is not allowed to do. Excellence indeed.

Evidently, if you launder nearly $1 billion for drug cartels and violate our international sanctions, your company pays a fine and you go home and sleep in your own bed at night." Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA)

Yeah, just like how they managed to apply the Noctis bonus of increased optimal for tractor beams also to salvagers now by adding the turret models and new icons :D

I'd be willing to give them a break for freak bugs like those though, altering legacy code can do weird stuff no one anticipates, if the bubble problem hadn't been talked about for days already. Not once CCP has been able to fix what was apparently broken on the test server before rolling out a update to the live server.

I'm sorry, but I disagree with you. It'd be difficult to manage in EVE given the variety of ships available, but - I'd love to be able to customize my ships' appearance a bit, even if just a paint job.

This will be possible sooner or later through the AUR microtransaction shop. Let's just hope that a new paintjob won't cost as much as a capital ship ;)

I agree that customizing your ship would be a nice touch, even if you won't even see it 99% of the time due to being zoomed out.

Here is a good summary article of the latest in EVE style rage. Massively. CCP may have finally pushed a good number of older veterans out of the game with their numbers replaced by the Pay to Win crowd or at least that seems to be the plan. CCP is furiously trying to stall and dampen the flames, but we'll see if they pull it off. Especially since they have repeatedly failed to state "No micro-transactions for game-altering items/services EVER" as they have been pressed to do by the players at every opportunity.

I haven't played EVE in a long long time and I've lost track of it, but this recent furore got my attention. And so did this Penny Arcade Comic:
