I wouldn't have minded the novel characters so much if they'd actually elaborated on their backgrounds and developed them as characters rather than relying on you having read the goddamn eu novels and comics to learn everything.

And not shunted Baird, Cole, and Hoffman of to nowhere for the entire final act. I don't care how many times I have to say it, that was fucking retarded.
And this is why you don't watch anything produced by Ronald D. Moore after he had his brain surgically removed and replaced with a bag of elephant semen.-Gramzamber, on why Caprica sucks

At the start of act 2 there's an entire conversation that hinges on stuff only fatties would know; Hoffman has gone to x with y, and if he's dead than z will look after the abc. The dialogue in this section in particular is really clunky, with people basically saying 'hey Marcus, we need to go to that place to get the thing so we can progress the plot, right?'

This is what happens when nerds complain a game has 'no story'; the subtle, understated story is replaced by dry, lifeless exposition with a retarded 'final end'.

With loads of irrelevant references to an expanded universe no one cares about.
Best care anywhere.

It made Reach's story look like a masterpiece. At least Reach didn't screw with characters anybody gave a damn about.
