I think 'work with team to achieve goals and respond to changing shape of battle' vs 'I built 100 t34s to 'realistically' use roof 50s to fight helicopters' is exactly why WiC and EE are not the same.

Oh, and 'WiC was amazing' and 'EE sucks balls' too.

Pro-tip: A person's personal preference, may differ and may in fact be entirely distinct from quantifiable observation of a thing.

For example it is my personal preference to tank rush, since after all until the mid 1970's Soviet battle doctine was likely to swam NATO with ten's of thousands of tanks and is a strategy I personally have a lot of fun with. However I did qualify it saying that it was likely to "backfire catastrophically" (paraphasing) now I wonder why it would backfire on me? Man, it surely couldn't be if I face someone with actual skill who uses micro of certain units (like apache's) to good effect against unimaginative tank waves now could it?

Now it is entirely possible you have misread my post and that's okay! So I hope this post clarified matters. Going into further detail would likely be tangential so yeah. WiC & EE are comparable even if they are very distinct from each other and why the comparison keeps popping up.

For now let's be very eager and optimistic about being able to play as Russians finally in a CoH's game without needing to mod it :)

I have, and they aren't that dissimilar (to me anyways), the difference in pigment between mauve and burgundy. Perhaps though it is squarely in the realm of your mileage may vary and we'll have to agree to disagree.

I love how it gives due recognition to the Soviet involvement in the war. Its hard to find outside of the first (good) Call of Duty titles where games do try it.

That's nice and everything but it's yet another trailer of zero gameplay. It tells me their are tanks in the game though. :/
Best care anywhere.

I've got my fingers crossed for an overhaul of the field fortifications. Dynamic zig-zaggy trenches and foxholes please! Playing the original, the clunkiness of sandbag lines really shows its age now, especially compared to OF's trenches.
