Chrome Browser quirk

I've noticed when typing in Chrome (like I'm doing right now), the "typing" icon line will occasionally jump back a few words. It's never happened in Firefox. Anyone else notice it?

i've only had that happen on an old laptop, where the thumps of fingers on the keybaord could trigger weird results in the mousepad.

the quirk exactly as you describe it? never.
