Yeah. It's basically the only one in the 3 part sequel trilogy I actually want to play.

I am looking forward to it because it is the climax of Kerrigan's story arc. Will she transcend her past and redeem herself or will she fall to darkness?

Well, that depends on what ending you pick, doesn't it? Be careful what flags you hit...

Wait, they're going the non-linear route with swarm?

The Liberty campaign had some "choice" stuff in it but the ending was never in question, at least as a choice on the player's part.

I figured that Blizzard actually liked pretty linear storylines, especially with Supply Depot* and all that.

That sounds more like a joke at the expense of Mass Effect 3 than themselves.

It was. Sadly, there were, in fact, not five endings. If you never lower the supply depot, the marine just sits there until you do.

Regardless, I don't think we'll see Blizzard going "full-decision" story for Swarm or the expansion after it, it's just not their thing. The choices in Liberty really just enhance replay value and let you experiment around with the campaign. Especially since you can use the mission archive to redo any mission you've already done, or make a different choice that time around.

In fact, they're much like the BW mission as the UED where you either take out the covert ops or the physics labs. Effect on story is practically nil, effect on game play is much more significant. I can't remember if similar mission objectives were in the Zerg and Protoss campaigns in BW, though.

Guys, it was a joke. As far as I know, Blizzard is making all player choice mostly irrelevant again.
