It'll be $49.99 for the regular edition and $79.99 for the Collector's Edition. The monthly fee hasn't been anounced, but'll probably be between $10 and $20.

I have now decided not to buy this game then. It's enough that you have to buy a fucking game with out having to pay for the privlidge of playing it.

Sadly they are going EQ route and spliting things up into constintuient parts.

Instead of one whole game you're getting part 1 of ??.

Who knows when you'll see ships and some of the stuff they promised in the first package.

*chuckles*oh that so doesn't work....so those who shell out the extra 40 dollars get ships while the others get the privilege of sitting on a planet with nowhere to go and nothing to do?...

Chalk one up for stupidity

If you can think of a better way to support a game that will have extremely large bandwidth and server costs for years to come, then be my guest.

As long as it's a GOOD game, which Galaxies is shaping up to be.

Hey, Tropen. Find out if my reserve is for the regular or the Collector's.

As far as I know, they haven't promised anything but Player cities at the beginning, which I believe now is going to be a few months after the initial release.
