I've had mine since 1999.09.09. It's sitting on top of my PS2 right now.

Wait, back up...you're buying a Dreamcast for Soul Calibur?

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?

The only reason I still have mine is for 2D fighting games, because they're better on DC. omfglol Capcom vs. SNK 2, kthxbye.

Of course. If I can find on for a decent price why not? It's a damn adictive game and I'm hooked.

It's not the only game either. There's an assload of them. Hell, most of them are better than the entire library on the XBox. LoL

No, it's not. But I've played probably a half dozen other games. If I can pick the whole deal up for under a $100 - $120 I'll take it just for that one game.

Recommendation for other good games are welcome so long as you tell me why!

*points at avatar* Skies of Arcadia is one of the best RPGs ever. Plus it has FINA! FINAFINAFINA! (BTW, I have my very own Fina and you can't have her)

Virtual On Oratorio Tangram: Ignore the idiots who claim that the game is unplayable without the twin sticks. Give it ten minutes and you'll be just fine with only the Dreamcast controller.

Bangai-O: Great side-scrolling shmup-to-end-all-shmups. LOTS of stuff to blow up, and the more explosions you get, the higher your score.

Sonic Adventure: Yes, it's old, but it's still a remarkably smooth platformer.

Chu-Chu Rocket: Four-player insanity. You'll laugh. You'll cry. You'll wonder where the hell six hours of your time went.

Quake III Arena: More multiplayer madness. Don't bother with Q3A in single-player.

Tech Romancer: AKA "Kikaioh". Mecha fighting the Capcom way!

There you go. Now you have a Dreamcast game for every day of the week and then some.

Skies is fun but has a sense of random battle hell(urgh...then again if you have a GC get that one...has more stuff)

As for games...you can find

SFA3(Street Fighter Alpha 3...fun game...sorta mindless),

CVS 1&2(okay so 2's import),

SC(truly a fantastic game on that machine,

Crazy Taxi(the way it was meant to be played...a damn fine game)

and a few other notable jewels(mostly SNK stuff...but all good).
MM /CF/WG/BOTM/JL/Original Warsie/ACPATHNTDWATGODW FOREVER!!

Sometimes we can choose the path we follow. Sometimes our choices are made for us. And sometimes we have no choice at all

i bought a Dreamcast with 17 games, 5 controllers(one fishing controller), 2 VMUs, and a few extras for my nephews off of eBay for $80. the system itself was in great condition and all of the games had their original cases and instructions. the controllers and VMUs were in good condition as well. Games for it now are really cheap. New controllers are about $5 and VMUs are $10. you can normally find them in places like EBgames, Software Etc., GameStop, Planet X, and sometimes in places like FYE, Toys R Us and even Wal-Mart and K-Mart if youre lucky enough to come in when there trying to get rid of their overstock.

Listen to Stampede. This fucker can fish out gaming systems better than even I can. Gasp!!!

Quake III and Marvel vs Capcom 2, Tropen, Stampede and myself still spend hours on those games.

Jedi Power Battles. I don't have to give anyone a god damn reason. It's good. Buy it.
