Also talk to Rightous Fist Of Heaven. He too the Star Wars Invasion mod and build a better ISD model. In his add on for the mod you can actually see the HTLs move and target. Very sweet.

What David is linking to is the SW: New Rebellion mod. The Star Wars Invasion mos used to be hosted on the site but i seems to have dissappeared.

Sweet. That is the only words to describe the ISD Mk II in that game. How cool is it that you can actually see the HTL's aim and fire. If only they used that Model in the SW:NR mod.

The mod that was just posted can be used in the single player game. It's just that on mission 4 and 7 the game will crash to desktop. This is due to the Ambassador Corvette.

To prevent this, go into your Homeworld folder. You should see a R1 folder and a R2 folder. This is the Federation and the Empire respectively. Go into the indicated folder for the race you have chosen. In there you should see a folder and two files called heavycorvette. Rename these to whatever you wish. After the Ambassador Corvette parts in the game, you can change them back with no ill effects.

It's fun to kick Federation ass in the game.

I check the SW:NR site quite often. I'm a very big fan of the mod. Version 8.0 seems to be well on the way. Most of the models are made and i must say what i've seen so far looks fantastic. I with i was better at computer art so that i could offer my help. The whole SW:NR team has my undying admiration and support. If you put up a Pay Pal icon i'd damn sure donate.
