Problems with the Starship Troopers game

Post by Lord of the Farce »

Anybody have any idea on how to get the graphics of the Microprose Starship Troopers game to work properly on a nVIDIA TNT2 card? Or should I just save myself some trouble an semi-permanently shelf the game until I get another computer?

Look around for the patch, it fixed numerous graphics compatibility issues.

And do you think that the game is fun, or pedantic?

My comp's current OS is Windows 98SE, and the patch I've got from the Infogrames website (1.1) still doesn't make it work. Apparently, the TNT series cards have a problem handling "blend" or something properly... Guess I can't do much about it until I've got a new GFX card and/or new comp.
