Homeworld Troubleshooting

I just installed Homeworld, and even after rebooting the game says that I have an invalid CD in, and cannot play. Could someone help me here?

You got the GOTY edition, right? Did you put in the music CD or the game CD?

Several hours of playing that game got me frustrated enough to never play it again. Way to complicated to be fun.

I bought the GOTY version and there were 2 cd's in mine too.

I felt the same way at first, but it's just that the game has a steep learning curve

Maybe yours was a return copy and the first purchaser didn't put the cd back in when they returned it? Or maybe it was stolen out of your box b4 you bought it. I worked at best buy, that kind of stuff use to happen all the time

Stores can re-seal boxes that were returned.

I use to re-seal stuff all the time and it looks the same as when the factory did it

Yeah, but Fry's will shrink-wrap it and put a stick on it saying that it was returned...

Never mind, after I made the post I noticed that on the other CD there was a notice saying it had the latest updates. So I used it and it works, me a happy camper!
