Oh. My. God.
I just played the demo for Viewtiful Joe, some CRAZY Japanese game for the GC coming out this September. It's one of the best games ever, I swear to god.
Joe is a guy who kicks the shit out of robots, and then he gets a superhero suit which gives him the ability to slow down and/or speed up. Add ontop of that super kickass cartoonish kung fu animation, matrix-esque dodging and fighting, and an engaging 3D sidescrolling format, and you've got one hell of a game. Oh, and you get points based on how awesome you kick the shit out of guys. The more awesome, or rather, the more "viewtiful", the more points.
I also played a demo of Splinter Cell, and the demo sucked ass. I'd like to know why Sam Fisher doesn't know how do to a pull-up. I mean, I can do a pull-up. Jeeze.
