Final Fantasy X-2

Post by LadyTevar »

Yes, it's already out in Japan, lucky bastards... There's still no definate US release, however.

GameSpot has several trailers and movies from the Japanese release, but they want you to be a member in order to see them. Anyone a Gamespot member who's seen them?

Oh well. Final Fantasy XI's release date has been bumped up from December to October!

I still maintain that FFX-2 was brought about by it's creators getting high while watching Charlies' Angels twenty times in a row. :)

Not that seeing Yuna making a transition from Rod-holding soft-spoken Summoner to heat-packin' femme fatale is a bad thing. 8)

FFX-2 seems like a light-hearted T&A fluff piece to counter the dark mood of FFX...

Im only playing FFXI if its offline also, Im not going to waste my money paying for a game every month no matter how good it is.

As for X-2, well, Sin was the ultimate crazy objective of any FF game, even though he was ludicrously easy to beat. How do you follow that up?

Well.. that's a start, yes. And there is the fact that she's doing this because Tidus is somewhere being held captive. Okay, it's not fighting Sin and Yu-Yevon, but it's a Very Worthy Goal!

After all, I'm sure she'd love to have a repeat of the little scene at the Spring...

EDIT: Fixed quotes.

I've heard eh about FFX-2 from a feew people who do import and loved FFX.

Mostly what Steve said(Charlie's angels)...that and it has three endings depending on how much you've done.

DF: FFXI is online only with no offline content...sorry.

Yes there is. November 3rd is the shipping date. You don't think SquareEnix would pass up a chance to milk the Final Fantasy cash cow, do you?

The game looks at least good if not marvelous. I wish they had titled it "Final Fantasy X Gaiden" or something like that rather than labeling it as a direct sequel.

Stuff cutscenes, they've based the entire character progress mechanic on it.

It looks (based on the trailer and a bit of guesswork) like a revision of the Job system.
