1.10 is limiting casters to one good skill and almost nothing else. Tri elementalists are impossible, and dual elementalists won't kill anything.
Which sucks, since you
need todo acceptable damage in all 3 elemental damage types. Since immunes are so damn common now.
Level 20 lightning mastery adds +278% extra lightning damage
Even with level 20 nova & level 20 lightning mastery, you looking at a
max of 495-710 damage for 34 mana.
level 20 Lightning & level 20 lightning mastery 3-5963 for 17.5 mana,
level 20 chainlightning is 3-3611 for 28 mana.
I havent looked to see how level 20 TS is, but its probable been toned down.
With nightmare & hell modes being so disproportionably hard, there is a limit on how far you can level in normal mode.
Getting in a char to +40 level is going to be very hard, near impossible. Lets not even consider the 40-99 range.
And the dependance on
really kick ass items is also going to present a problem(for the players).
I'm giving up on spellcasters in 1.1 beta, at least till a viable stratagy for them is found. Melee characters look to be in their element in this version.
