Does anyone else remember this game? I remember it, and still love it, and the book too.

I wish my disc wasn't so scratched up, so I could play it again... I've wanted to go through it again, but I'm afraid of that damned turtle skeleton puzzle.

The one puzzle I could never get without help was the focusing disk one, the turtle skellie puzzle was, however, admitedly very hard.

I remember The Dig very well. I hated the turtle. I loved the story line.

I played the demo a LONG time ago, and loved it. I'm still looking for the full game/book.

A played and beat it a long time ago. I remember very little, but it was awesome. I recall a pixel-hunting puzzle that was a real pain-in-the-ass though, as well as a few other portions, like the Millenium Falcon icon.

The logo on the light bridge boxes was the Falcon, an ISD/VSD and the Enterprise right next to each other.

The lens focusing puzzle wasn't really that hard, it was all a matter of trial and error. Find out what each button does, then simply start coordinating it to the correct location. :P

Now, the TURTLE puzzle... that one literally had me stumped for months. I would go and try it for hours at at time, give up in disgust, and try again a few days later.

I got this game together with Full Throttle. I liked Full Throttle better.

Got a little fed up with the "awe-inspiring" soundtrack of The Dig. Too much.

I never played the Dig. If I recall it got panned in the reviews. I did really enjoy Full Throttle though. That game was a classic.

Specially Monkey Island 2. But IMO that's only second place to Zak McKracken & The Alien Mindbenders.

The Dig should definately be made into a movie. They could do it now, and get Robert Patrick to reprise his role!

No, that was THEN. THEN, he thought the cost would be too prohibitive. NOW, it would work out fine, methinks.

I don't know the exact age of Mr. T-1000 offhand, but he starred on the X-Files only a couple of years ago, so it's not as if he is in a retirement home or anything.

Space Quest 5 might be the best Sierra game... but it still can't hold a candle to most Lucas games.

Well it was originally intended to be the plot for a movie, but everyone rejected it because it was too ambitious. Wonder if they didn't use hyper-realistic computer effects back then? The game is not THAT old...
