Neverwinter & SoU shipping-related question

Post by Slartibartfast »

Anyone knows how big and heavy the boxes for these games are? I want to buy them but I'm using a PO-like thingy and I want to input these values to know how expensive the shipping's gonna be.

Thanks!

Do you think that 20x30x5 cm and 0.5 kg for a game box is an adequate estimation on average? If a bit on the high side...

Shadows of Undrentide comes in a standard DVD case.

Neverwinter Nights comes in a cardboard box the length and width of a DVD case, but about the thickness of 2.5/3 DVD cases.

The NWN box is slightly heavy, as it contains a fairly wodgelike paper manual.

I got from the Bioware forums that it's something like 500 grs for both. That's something around 7 dollars for shipping, versus $60 or so that Gamestop charges (not to mention that I wasn't able to enter my credit card info ). Anyway, I already bought both games separately from Amazon for like 10 more dollars, but they won't charge delivery! (super saving thingy) so it's like 5 more dollars. On the downside they don't come with TA:Kingdoms like in Gamestop but I heard that game is crap anyway.

BTW, it's now twice I've been credited for contributing on a Bioware game faq :) First is on DSimpson's guide to BG2, the newest one is on the UHS hints about Shadows of Undrentide :D yay me
