Freeware Quest for Glory II remake in progress

This is a project I'm very excited about. If you're a fan of old-style point and clock VGA adventure games and you haven't played this game, you absolutely must.

Mark S, I know you'll be excited about this, since I recall you saying that Quest for Glory was your favorite game series.

I'm studying for the CPA exam. Have a nice summer, and if you're down just sit back and realize that Joe is off somewhere, doing much worse than you are.

Rockin', I remember reading about this project. Tierra even has been blessed by Ken Williams (head of Sierra On-Line before they were consumed by Infogrames), though not by Sierra itself.

Arg, this brings back memories of Quest for Glory III (and endless hours beefing up my Mage in the village) and King's Quest V (oops ... forgot to save that rat, damn!)

I bought the QFG anthology a few years ago and played the living hell out of it, but I lost the disk. I still haven't recovered. Worst of all, it'll cost a LOT of money to replace it.

I hope they keep the combat from the original QFG2. The first one was a bit too simple (and ugly) and those from 3 and 4 suck ass :P

Cool. Someone is also remaking Ultima V. However it looks like a student project and these have a tendancy to fall apart.

Their King's Quest I and II remakes are absolutely fucking SUPERB. They even got the voice actor for King Graham from KQ5 to provide speech for them- these guys rock.
