Ok, just got my dvd writer working today and have been recommended to get nero 6 to write dvds with. However, there's a problem with hardware accelleration, in that if it's enabled, the picture gets all mangled, and i do mean REALLY mangled, worse than on the mega drive or snes when you removed a game unexpectedly.
You can still watch dvds without hardware accelleration, but some times the audio-video can go out of sync and the picture generally doesn't look as good. Is this a well known problem and what can be done to fix it?
I downloaded the latest drivers 30 mins ago, but not the latest control panel.
