If Religion and Politics were characters on a soap opera, Religion would be the one that goes insane with jealousy over Politics' intimate relationship with Reality, and secretly murder Politics in the night, skin the corpse, and run around its apartment wearing the skin like a cape shouting "My votes now! All votes for me! Wheeee!" -- Lagmonster

Uhmm...hmm. $500 seems like a decent asking price.

$500 might be wishful thinking, especially since I imagine the 17" isn't a very good display (not AG right?). I think $300 is about all I would pay for it, but you might be able to get a sucker on eBay to pay more.

$400 and since it's very close to my specs I laid out 6 months ago for a new computer I want, I may just be interested in it...

If I were in the computer buying mood, I'd probably give you no more than $350 to $400 for that machine. It is not a seller's market for used computers these days.

Usually when I have a machine to sell, I sell it in components only. Seem to make more money that way.

Chop'N'Hock, hmm? Ya I noticed components add up to more than what computers are sold for nowadays too. Maybe I'll do that next time I have a Hot Rod I wanna sell (which assumes I ever GET a Hot Rod computer...)
