I have passed 2 IT Management papers, confirming that I have no idea what I'm doing but I'm doing it well.

Have you done IT papers as part of a tertiary study too? I don't know if they're all like what I had but it seemed to essentially be memorize random IT related shit, write a report on it then remember it for the exam.TrailerParkJawa wrote:I dont know what that means either, just dont call me to tell me the fax machine is down on Saturday. It can wait.

I've never bothered to get any kind of certificates. For a while, it was only experience that counted. Now days the certificates weigh pretty heavily with Human Resources types. But, since Ive been temping a lot I have not gotten off my butt to take some tests.Spyder wrote:Have you done IT papers as part of a tertiary study too? I've seen a few exams, they ask questions you almost never come across in the day to day operations of IT support. But I suppose you learn something new everytime you study. So that's not bad.
