Ripping DVDs

What free programs are there that can do this decently, cos i want to rip some of my dvds and put them on writable dvds for movie parties and the like, it'd be easier to keep them on a spindle and it's not as bad if they get lost this way.

While I would be more than glad to help you out, to do so would be in violation of the DMCA -- and this board is hosted in the United States. Do a google search, you'll find some information there.
