DIE Atari DIE I am never again going to buy any of your crap!
The latest patch for NWN Hordes of the Underdark breakes the game if you have any virtual drives installed.
I have always bought all my games but when they do crap like this my motivation to buy legetime games dies. From now on Atari/Bioware can kiss my ass I am not spending another fucking dime on them!

KotOR? You mean that incredibly amazing game that is by far the buggiest piece of software this side of Windows ME?
NWN is reportedly a great game, but that's not the beef here: Let's face it, Atari and to a lesser extent Bioware has crap-ass QA protocols.

i count bugs as major crashes at important moments
and the only one of those i encountered was when someone tried to talk to me on msn in the middle of me casting force whirlwind... making the game crash.

You only got those?Lagmonster wrote:You're probably more lenient. Or lucky. Things that I wouldn't consider a bug (random scripting errors, inevitable in games of that size) drive other people nuts and calling for the playtester's heads.
Seriously no, I agree with Lag here...KoTOR is immensely buggy(made a small list somewhere of all the shit I've encounter: The Galaxy Droid, Stealth screwing up a part of the game, a variety of side missions that are completely whacked out script routines....etc)
And those three are MAJOR crashed(one of them occurs at a point wherein you have to restart the game because it crashes constantly)
Don't get me wrong I love it...but I do not deny it's buggy as hell(Console or PC)

i must not play particularly vigorously...
my biggest problem was that when i first got kotor my gpu kept switching itself off after about half an hour... rolling back the drivers fixed that though.

Actually it also depends on how many times...or with Lag what you did differently.Zac Naloen wrote:i must not play particularly vigorously...

My first 3 times...I only noticed the Galaxy Droid. Later on using other characters for some situations is where I came upon bugs galore.
Literally if you take a near pure power through path, you encounter the least amount of bugs.

Reminds me of the NWN patch stuff up where if you equip an item that changes certain stats (eg. Hearing), it wipes out all of your other stats.
