Hahahah! At least some kind of reward would've been nice. Honestly speaking, I liked the game characters and cared for what happened to them. This was a pretty rare experience considering that this was a computer game.

Of course, it'd be better if she professed her love to your female character.
Only here at SD.net can a perfectly harmless KotOR discussion degenerate into talk about hot lesbian sex between game characters. But hey, they are not called vibroblades for no reason!

Well, Bastila is as sexy as a game character can possibly get. She's even got the accent. Suck shit Lara Croft.

As to Carth Onasi, I don't play females in any games where that's the option- because I'm male. See? :)

Maybe it's something to experiment on. I really was looking forward to killing Carth. His ceaseless comments on my cruelty and his constant questioning of my decisions e.g. ("no, she's no threat to us, run you're free to go" in the Black Vulkar base) was making me look forward to when my brilliant red/orange blade was going to seperate his head from his torso (Heart of the Guardian crystal).

Anyway, in terms of the endings- they should've gone to the trouble of making them cutscene quality (i.e. like the scenes with Carth and Bastila talking during the plot revelation). It would've really improved atmosphere- like I know they had them in terms of space, but they should've done it in the speeches/etc as well.

Hear, hear! :D

Though I have to admit that when I talked to her for the first time after "rescuing" her from the Black Vulkars, my initial reaction was similar to what Han felt about Leia on the Death Star in ANH - ie. "I don't deserve to fucking hear this."

I think it's a rule of thumb that main female love interests in the Star Wars universe have to start out as spoiled fantasy princesses (Leia, Amidala, Bastila) who are just begging to be turned over and fucked in the ass by a badass (Han, Vader, Darth Revan) in order to loosen them up a bit.

Man, would Mike ever approve of THAT. ;)

Very true Lag, very true.

That was a problem for the ending as well, I know intially they made it that neitehr Juhani, HK-47, nor Bastillla were there since you could accomplish the game without them and they aren't forced but c'mon.

Bastila is a main romance theme and they should have done what they did in Throne of Bhaal at the very least and given a slight alteration if you did woo the woman or not.

What I would've liked to see is ending cutscenes using the cutscene engine/style rather than the in-game engine. It would've looked better and would've allowed for more eye-candy.

In regards to Bastila, I lost a post due to the somewhat erratic nature of my cable connection lately (don't know what the fuck is going on, the various lights on my modem are like a fucking christmas tree), but I was going to say that it's obviously what the developers intended (i.e. a Han & Leia type story)- for those who haven't tried out the sleazy dialog options, try em, they're quite funny. Bastila trips herself up in denial many times.

Yeah...I mean why not, just make it the special ending if you wnet through the dialogue.

I did feel a little jiiped that at the end of the good light, and rescuing her it's the same thing.

OK finished the game, was very good however, who is this Juhani people speak of? Seriously, I don't remember said character being in my squad?

Erm also, did anyone else kill Bastila on the SF, only to see her in the final cutscreen?

I wish I had the time to play through the game again - I feel now like I have missed a lot.

You recruit her on Dantooine.

She's fallen into the darkside and a few charming words and a display of swordsmanship you can recruit her.(her photo would be in the middle right hand side)

Huh, they kept that fuck up?

Oh I remember her! I killed her, and then her friend got pissed with me, ran off to Koriban, and fought me and was easily defeated.

I finished the game in about 20 hours as a blazing light Jedi. Not cool for all 4 CDs worth. Other than that, the game was so thoroughly enjoyably I was up 'till dawn playing it for three nights in a row.

I was nearly in tears of laughter with the ever belligerent Assassin droid (HK-47?) and nearly in tears of grrly romance when I said, 'shut up and kiss me, you blubbering fool!' and then I was left no-where when I redeemed her and didn't get to tell her I loved her again :'( (or at least expand on the conversation). The guy who wrote the dialogue for Monkey Island must have worked on this one

Unless other factors stopped me, I always took Jolee (I always thought "Angelina" when I saw his name :P) and Bastilla with me. I sliced every bad guy down like a hot knife through butter.. After I whirlwinded or stasised him that is :D

I was very disappointed at how linear the game play was compared to the Fallout series - I could only go to five planets, and when there only do the one main story, and only go in certain places at certain times. A few cities on each planet or more planets NOT related to the SF quest would have been nice.

I thought the maths puzzles were a little bit insultingly easy and could have used more of varying skill. That said, perhaps simply a slider bar for 'puzzle difficulty' would have been good.

In summary, any game where I am a Force wielding, Lightsabre slashing Jedi is a good game. I impatiently await expansions packs now.

Interestingly enough, I used to call Rebecca "my little princess" when we were dating :)

Actually Amidala *WAS* fucked (just not in the ass) - and Anakin/Vader did it good enough to get twins :)

Going out of the movies, the same was with Leia. I wonder - every SW book I read never touched the erotic side of Han/Leia's relationship. C'mon, the Jaina/Whatshisname Fel (Soontirs Fel's) romance felt more...romantic/erotic than that.
