Good Place to find Civ3: Conquest Maps?

CivFanaticshas a stupidly large amount of everything remotely Civ related.

MUST get War of the Worlds mod.

Also Apolyton has some good files on maps and well as mods. There's one for the real world earth with correct resource distribution and up to 32 Civilizations starting locations. Currently my Persian Empire strecthes from the Iberian peninsula to the Korean peninsula, down the entire Nile valley into the Congo, North Africa and Western Africa. The Wars of Formation fought between 1409 to 1490 saw the Spanish driven of the continent by Persian tanks, a weapon of war not seen on the battlefield before, the Chinese subjugated and driven into Siberia, giving the Persians exclusive control over the silk trade which the Chinese wielded with such an iron fist and the Zulu slaughtered in a genocidal campaign which saw the razing of 7 Zulu cities and the systematic elimination of all captured Zulu workers in reatliation for the razing of a Persian city at the start of the war.

The height of the war of formation saw Persia facing off against Zulu, China, Spain, America, Aztecs and Iroqouis. The Scandanavians thought better of getting involved.

Anyway I recommend this map as its a blast to start at correct locations and with no space race victory allowed you HAVE to either fight your way to domination or scrabble for a culture victory.
