Anyone use FSecure Internet Security?
I do. And a small program called "Back Web 6.40" came with it. I think it's supposed to be some kind of firewall but it doesn't matter because the damn thing doesn't work. What happens is that the program starts, I can see it in the task manager. Then it suddenly disappears and reappears a few seconds later. This is very annoying because it makes all other programs inactive, and if I'm running a fullscreen game, it minimizes. So I have to click on the game to maximize it, and after half a minute it starts all over again. I've tried to uninstall this "Back Web" program but the uninstaller seems to be broken. I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the whole FSecure and that didn't work either. What should I do?

Backweb is an application that automatically downloads updates for f-secure products. Most commonly used with f-secure anti virus.
Backweb have also figured as a part of spyware applications. I use f-secure antivirus and have restricted backwebs communications ability to anti virus update servers only.
So if you have used spybot s&d to remove anything it's likly that it has removed parts of backweb and broken the uninstall.
Try to restore backweb from spybot if you have used it then try to unistall it again.
F-secure update servers:
193.100.109.0 /24
194.252.6.0 /24
193.64.205.0 /24

A little experience from my area: I work with a company that uses backweb in a professional deployment, and so far I regard it as a useless program that can be replaced by using the task scheduling feature in winbloze.
Backweb is supposed to use the free and unallocated bandwidth of your connection to update applications and documents in the background while you work. Half the time it connects and the rest of the time it takes up bandwidth. Buggy app in my opinion.
