I may have a virus on my computer
I run a Athlon 1.2 with Windows Millenium. Lately, everytime I load up my computer freezes, or sometimes decides to spontaneously reboot. Is this a virus, or Millenium being... well, Millenium (I heard that it was unstable, but damn...). Can anyone advise me? Are there any free anti-viral programs I can download?

Dump me. Get something else. Anything else. 2000, XP, hell 3.1 would be fucking better than that piece of shit.Stofsk wrote:I run a Athlon 1.2 with Windows Millenium. Yeah, nuke it flat, get 2K, Kerio, Mozilla Firebird (and Mail too), SpybotSD, and AVG Antivirus. It's what I use, and the worst that happens is a virus will occasionally try to download itself from a webmail site (only if an infected email is open) and get shot down on sight by AVG...darthdavid wrote:Dump me. Well I downloaded AVG antivirus, ran it, nailed 4 viruses, then things worked fine for awhile. Until my computer locked up. *grr* If only voodoo curses actually worked, I would call a pox down upon Microsoft's head. I'm convinced now that it's Millenium - but right now, I can't replace it at all. Fucking motherfuckers! Thank you, microsoft, for making my computer experience a frustrating one. Win95 was never this bad.
