Robot Arena - Design & Destroy

I got this game at Fry's a couple days ago. I've tried it out a bit and so far it's almost universally superior to the previous Robot Arena game. My only complaints are that getting the chassis and parts to harmonize is difficult and driving is hard to learn, both of which are a result of the game's improved realism. Has anyone else played this game?

Yes. It's based on the Robot Wars concept.

Anyone remember the ancient Robot Wars game for PC around the 8088/286 era? I loved that game.

Was that the one where you had to program your tank robot using a C-like scripting language? No, wait, I think that required like a 486...I don't know.

Yeah that was the one. If it required a 486 it must have been a sequel though, because the one I'm talking about I played on my friends 8 MHz 286
