I was kind of running with alternate dimension, but... fictional shouldn't be impossible...

I now have an image of the Doctor going back into the Tardis to dig out his 4th ed rulebook...

Well, back in Hartnell's time they wound up in "The Land of Fiction," so it's possible. Plus, in "The Chase" they land in a haunted house at a fairground, but don't realise it. Ian asks the Doctor if it's possible they landed in an imaginary world, and the Doctor muses that it is indeed possible.

Thanks for the offer, I'd rather just watch though. There's a lot of players already, and I'm playing Dark Heresy and running Rogue Trader already on pen and paper, so it'd get confusing!

Yeah me too, int he next few weeks I'm continuing one Dark Heresy campign, starting another one as GM and embarking upon a Laundry campaign as well. Yay for roleplaying, doubly so since my Lost Legion will be appearing in my DH campaign :D

Purple, if you're still with us, I suggest (if Sophia is down) that you start a different path. It would be hard to shoe-horn you into the bridge scene, but it would work well if you get into a position where the other players can run into you in the course of things and that way you can join the action.

I can easily do that (it's even possibly to slip them into the bridge).
I'll send Purple a PM.

Also, your armsmen need to be getting into action...

Is that "interesting" as in "may you live in interesting times?"

Those anti-Power Armour bolter rounds should do nicely I think. Depends what era the Daleks are I guess.

No kidding. What about Cybermen? Same?

(I'm assuming here that the two most likely culprits are Daleks or Cybermen, but DW has had plenty of baddies, so there's plenty of room for choice. Why do I have a sinking feeling here...)

To be honest, even if it's Daleks, Cybermen or Sontarans or any other armoured enemy, I'm willing to bet that the Vengeance rounds (the anti-Chaos Marine ones) will at the very least damage them.

And if nothing else, I suspect a Power Axe will nicely amuptated the Dalek's gun arm, or cut off the Cybermen's heads.

Then we don't look away and blast them with ordinary high explosive rounds.

Well who else is it? Metal skinned humanoids with arm-mounted weapons? Sounds like Cybermen to me.

At any rate, my guy will break out the heavier armour-piercing rounds and blow them to hell.
