"Of course, all the equipment you should need will be gathered in the embarkation room tommorow. Till then, dismissed."
With that he rose and headed towards his office.

He rose and saluted as he left, turning to look to his team members

"Alright, take those with you, I want every part of it covered for the mission tomorrow...if something goes wrong...we'll need a backup route to the gate and things like that...until then, your time is your own"

He muttered and lifted the papers and his cap to turn and leave the briefing room, making his way carefully to the command room with the gate activation computers, Stopping to stand infront of the computers and stare out the blast window at the gate thoughtfully

"So this is it? The salvation of the human race."

He stared at the darkened gate thoughtfully and shook his head

Connar had been awake since 5am in his quarters, readying himself. The daily routine consisted of a shower for the first twenty minutes to wake himself from rest, the next twenty spent excercising once awake and the rest of the time was his own, usually spent with another shower to clean off the sweat.

This day was not unsimilar. He had once again donned his combat fatigues and felt comfortable. He sorted his hair infront of the mirror and headed down to the embarkation room to seek out the others and search out his gear

Angelina woke up precisely 30 minutes before 6, got dressed, and mentally prepared herself. Then, at 6, she headed out the door, heading towards level 28. This is it.../

"Master Sergeant Johnson, you must be SG-4. We've got the equipment for you all ready and sorted out....Lt Colonel Archbryte?"
