Halo was so good that Halo 2 sold 6.5 million copies, but Halo 2 wasn't all that great. I wonder if Halo 3 will sell nearly as well.

More to the point, this is simply a re-release... And it's not like they're waiting for it to be a classic everyone misses(See: Final Fantasy Origins). Microsoft will probably advertise and hype Halo3 as much as Sony will do the same for their console.
